HISTORY

IMG_1644.jpg

From 2008 to 2016, Jeff Burke was the Director of Custom Framing & Shipping for Axelle Frames (a subsidiary of Axelle Fine Arts & Bertrand Delacroix Gallery). During this period his staff kept both Manhattan galleries and the Boston gallery stocked with a constant rotation of framed original works from world renowned artists including: Michel Delacroix, Albert Hadjiganev, Francois Bard, and Russel Young. Axelle Frames became a fixture in the Boerum Hill neighborhood in 2000, servicing local residents, businesses, designers, and artists across New York city and beyond.

Due to the tragic and untimely death of Bertrand Delacroix, who was the founder, heart and soul of Axelle Fine Arts, the company closed its doors permanently in March 2016. In the following months, Jeff founded Boerum Frames LTD which is conveniently located next door to the former home of Axelle Frames.
